Our dog was having some issues with her eyes, which is normal for a shar pei, due to all the excess skin they have. She doesn't look to have that much extra, but when she was a puppy she was very wrinkly. She had to have surgery to remove some of the extra skin because her bottom eyelids were folding into her eyes, causing her eyelashes to irritate her eyes. If we wouldn't have had the surgery done, she could have eventually lost her vision. Here is a tribute to her!
Here she is a day after surgery hanging out with a cone around her neck. The poor girl has to wear it for 2 weeks.

Here she is around 8 weeks old, her first week with us! You've gotta love that cute little face!

those pictures are soo cute...and I don't really even like dogs that much! I hope everything is good with you guys and not too crazy! Jordan wants to have Hayden over to play "without the ellies" so we will have to plan a non-busy day to have a play day!
